灼熱の太陽と赤土の大地を思い浮かべませんか？
そんな土地にも花が咲き乱れる時期があります。

満開になるのは雨季が始まる前。
つまり乾季の中でも乾ききった時期。
乾いた大地に色鮮やかに咲き誇るジャカランダと火炎樹をみると
たくましさを感じずにはいられません。
They fully bloom right before the rainy season
Which means that they bloom in the driest time of the dry season.
Every time I see fully bloomed colorful jacaranda and flame tree on this dry land,
I just can't resist sensing the sturdiness of Africa.

今年は例年より雨季の訪れが早かったようで
マラウイ人は急ピッチでトウモロコシの栽培準備で大忙しのようでした。
最近は毎日のように雨が降っていて本格的に雨季に突入したようです！
Rainy season started a bit earlier than usual
So all Malawians got busy preparing to cultivate maize.
It's been raining almost everyday, so I guess rainy season has officially started!
